Defensive Indifference

Most of you probably aren’t reading this because, let’s face it, we’ve been pretty lazy around these parts lately. Well, I’m banking on you and your RSS readers. Anyway, as you probably notice now, things look a bit different. There’s header art. There’s one less column. The posts themselves have a different format. Consider it a fresh look for a fresh start.

The July 31 deadline has passed, and with it, so has a bit of the furor at my job (you know the one that pays the bills). So a few things are going to change:

• More consistency in our posting. We’re going to try to do one a day.

• More variety. I write about baseball for a living. I don’t always want to come here to one of my many hobbies and write about it. You can always read me at FanHouse (more coming on that front) and I’ll still be posting predominantly about baseball, but if I want to write about Newcastle United or post a crazy YouTube video or talk about graphic novels or review a Washington DC bar, well I’m going to do that too.

So sit back and enjoy our glorious return. We’ll be better. Honest.
