Phil Hughes Has Joined the Revolution
Most of the time I don’t go looking for reasons to dislike the Yankees, they just seem to find me. Phil Hughes, the pitching prospect Robin to Joba Chamberlain’s Batman, has copied Curt Schilling and started his own blog. Pretty cool, right? Uh, sure I guess. I mean I always wanted to know what crappy music Phil Hughes listens to, didn’t you?

Most of the list isn’t … unforgivable, but Linkin Park? Jesus. Talk about the proverbial poop in the punch bowl. Linkin Park is the musical equivalent of Scarlett Johanson having herpes. No matter how good you look, it kind of wrecks everything. Just for that he’s not getting in the Blog Roll.
Here’s a short list of bands Phil could listen to in order to improve his personality: The Strokes, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, The Clash, The Ramones, The Shins, Death Cab For Cutie, The Futureheads, Tokyo Police Club, Cold War Kids, Rogue Wave, Silversun Pickups, The National, Voxtrot, Super Furry Animals, Midlake, Aloha, Hotel Lights, Band of Horses, Modest Mouse, The Killers, Stiff Little Fingers, The Raconteurs, The White Stripes, Brookville, The Jam, Kings of Leon, Shout Out Louds, Matt Pond PA, Pete Bjorn and John, Manchester Orchestra, American Analog Set, Preston School of Industry, LCD Soundsystem, The Postal Service, oh and there’s always Fucking Any Band Ever.
